Sorry! No Long Weekend

A lot of Filipinos are probably disappointed this weekend. It's the All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day on the 1st and 2nd of November respectively. Almost everybody expected that November 2 would be a holiday. Usually this is a time for Filipinos, specially those who are working on other places like Metro Manila, to go back home, visit their loved ones who passed away already, and see their relatives again. However, the government did not declare the 2nd of November as a holiday. As a result, not a lot of people are travelling to their hometowns for the occasion. Most probably, a lot of Filipinos are not too happy about this. What do you think?
