7 Days, 8 Movies

Part of the perks of running my horror website are the amount of free stuff I get for reviews. Last week I was given free screeners of this fantastic series from After Dark Films called "8 Films To Die For". Each year they release eight of the best indie horror films under their label. This years crop were exceptionally awesome. They wanted me to watch and review all eight by Halloween and I was up for the challenge. But, of course, things happen during the week. Like TV, video games, and spending way too much time wondering why men need nipples. But I pressed on and got them all watched and reviewed earlier tonight to make the deadline. If you're into this sort of thing, I would recommend going to Amazon (and other video on demand services) and checking them out. My favorite three were "B astard", "Lumberjack Man", and "Wind Walkers". In other news, I think if you ever shaved a ferret it would look pretty freaky. My mind wanders like that.....

Sounds good you got to review those films. I think ferrets would be better to crawl up trouser legs if they were shaved.

I like Halloween movies but only the tamer ones. And I shiver to think of a ferret without fur!

Shaving a ferret is just wrong! One of my friends had a mated pair years ago. They were wylie little critters. They had run of the house and they kept things interesting. I will have to check out the films. I can watch some horror films and other ones I just can't. Weird that way I guess.

Ferrets are way cool! They are underutilized as pets and over utilized as appetizers somewhere lol The 8 Films To Die For is great because of its variety. It's got everything from blood and gore to more psychological type horror.

That's what I liked about these eight movies. Some were really gory, but some were more psychological and creepy. There was a little something for everyone. I admit I like the slasher films the most.

They are all indie films and they rival their Hollywood counterparts! I've been a fan of the series since the first one, but this is the first time they've given me access to all eight for free. I will still buy the DVD'S though because they are all worth another watch. My website is if you would like to read the reviews. If not, I completely understand. I spend too much time focused on shaved ferrets. lol
"Wind Walkers" is part of After Dark Films series 8 Films To Die For and is a supernatural, dark and mind bending horror film. A soldier(Sean, played by Zane Holtz) returns home from deployment for a hunting trip with his friends. He's been diagnosed with

I can do without either a shaved ferret or horror movies. Each to his own.
