So Much Junk Mail

I have just checked my email account and the junk and normal folders were packed with junk mail, granted we don't get much junk mail through the old snail mail route but we get plenty through the electronic mail route.
The thing I wonder is doe's it really bring in sales? Personally I just delete all of it, if I want something I go off and hunt down the best deal rather than trusting all the sales patter that lands in my inbox.

I always think of the cost it's cost the company to put out junk mail.

they must waste a fortune sending all that rubbish out @kevin1877uk I guess that is why they are turning to email as it is cheaper than printing and posting lots of stuff.

@mrtoffee We still get it, normally either today or Wednesday. Get far to much junk emails, had my email address for far too long.

@kevin1877uk same here, what amazes me is where some of the emails come from, someone is definitely selling our email details to lots of other companies.

We do tend to get more junk mail every time that we purchase something online and supply our email address. I often used to wonder if anyone ever responded to such junk, but in reality some people must do or the practice would have ceased by now.
