She Never Ceases To Amaze Me

I am so proud of my daughter and she never ceases to amaze me with the wonderful woman she has become.
The police were alerted by the school that one of the children going there was living in a car with her father. They had moved here from Oklahoma and the father had a job but lost it when their car broke down and he couldn't get to work. They are living in a shelter right now while waiting for a place to live.
Last night my grand daughter put together a halloween bag of goodies for the 10 yr old girl and she and my daughter took the two of them out for dinner as a way to help. She is giving them furniture and things they may need when they finally get a home to call their own.
A lot of people here are helping this man and his daughter and the fact that my daughter has grown up to be such a caring and giving person makes me so proud. She is always trying to help others who are sick or down on their luck even though she doesn't have much herself.
Do you have someone in your life that makes you this proud?

My nephew is a great performer and my wife and I have always enjoyed going to his shows. Now he is getting ready to graduate high school and will then go into Logan to become a chiropractor. Very proud of him. As for the deeds you described here, there is MUCH to be proud of for sure.

That is great for your nephew and wonderful that you get to see his shows and to graduate and already have a plan on a career is great as well. You should be very proud of him. My grandson is in high school and also in drama, he loves doing the plays.

Both my son and daughter, along with their spouses, make me proud. Isn't it a great feeling?

It sounds like you've raised a wonderfully compassionate woman.
My daughter constantly amazes me with her compassion and generosity, even though she's only a kindergartner. She's much more likely to donate coins she finds to a charity than keep them for herself.

That is great that she is starting out young, my grand daughter takes a plate to the homeless from their Thanksgiving dinners every year and I hope she continues her graciousness through life. Sounds like yours will be the same way, good job mom.

Your daughter sounds like a wonderful person. My son is a very caring giving person. He is only sixteen years old and often goes out of his way to help other.
