Are you a wearer of nose rings? Tongue piercings? Do you not notice others who are or do you look and decide that person is not trust worthy? Or maybe its a phase? Belly button piercings? Hip or last year or a holy cow? Would you run or scream if you saw an elderly person with their nose pierced?

I have never understood the desire to pierce one's flesh in order to wear some adornment, but would certainly judge someone accordingly.

I'm not into needles. I'm not one to understand this idea, either.

No to your first two questions. Why should I run or scream if I saw someone who thinks they're beautiful when in fact they're ugly?

@maluse Thanks for the chuckle. Do you see a lot of younger folks in Germany wearing piercings?

@sallypup More than enough. Besides, more and more people are getting tattoos. I though tattooing would be a passing fad, but obviously it's going to stay. I'm pondering a post on the topic. Watch this place. :-)

@MALUSE I've noticed that tatoos are more popular now, too. One lady wondered about her lack of employment then bragged about the vampire tatoos that adorned her neck and chest.

As a college teacher, I ignore it. Sometimes I think smug things like, "She wants to express her individuality, just like everyone else." I don't find it attractive. But it doesn't mortify me like tattoos. Piercings can be removed.
