I really felt so sorry for the weatherbeaten man in his wheelchair. Elderly wrapped in n a blanket brace on a leg, he held a sign that read Vet, broke needs food money. i had just come from my bank , had jsut drawn out some money so handed him a 20 dollar bill. then I crossed the stree. I needed to
pick up some prescriptions. While in line to get my meds I saw my poor vet walking better than I can down the wine aisle .With my twenty dollar bill, and I was in line behind the pan handler he bought that wine I could not afford. I went to the police station to report him. the desk Sergeant said"old Louie's at it again. Just got out of jail for panhandling. darn 'G race go pick him up and give this library lady a twenty, she worked hard for that money, shame on Louie: He told me that Louie lived with his son anmd daughter in l aw and was fed and cared for. S o I guess Louie iust went out and did this for his fun I guess. Your take mylotters on panhandlers in your area.I truly fell for his game.

I haven't seen any here in this town I now live in but when I lived in a suburb of Phoenix and Sacramento I saw panhandlers all the time. Some of them were down on their luck but others did it for a living and I do believe made more money then me.

this is why I give food, or a bottle of water, but never money, dont trust anyone. But glad you got your money back!
