@jstory07 We don't have a Dairy Queen here so I don't know. I just remember once I was visiting my daughter in the US and she got one from Baskins Robins and boy was it good.

If you love making cakes please go see this one on the site. This woman is amazing and she never went to school to learn this. I was amazed at this cake and swore she had used a real hand back and high heel shoe on top of her cake.
I just want to share the picture of the cake i made for our family friend. A sculpted moist chocolate cake covered with milk fondant (pastillas). The sugar heel...

Homemade or box? I am a homemade cake girl so I keep it simple, yellow or chocolate usually.

@jstory07 Well that allows for many more choices. My mom had me making homemade cakes before I was 10 years old so it is what I prefer.

Chocolate cake or white cake. My favorite part though is the frosting.

@jstory07 The frosting is the best part. Don't even need much of the actual cake part.

It sounds like you are a professional cake maker. I can only make the simple cakes like cheese cake. But in fact my favorite cake is the black forest. I ever made the chocolate cake and I found it quite tasteful. But when I shared it with my others, one of my colleagues said she would never like chocolate cake any more

I guess you can see by the popularity of this discussion that everyone likes cakes. I have been craving a German Chocolate cake so I say go with that. I was just reading about cookies you can make with a boxed cake mix and cool whip...who knew??

I think you should choose the German chocolate cake. I certainly would pick that one - the best part of this layered cake is the delicious coconut-pecan frosting. Yum!

If it is just a tea time snack I do not suppose you need to think hard to make a choice. Is there an occasion that you wish to bake that cake for?

It must be a Chocolate Pudding Cake. Crust layer with a baked flour and pecan crust, layered with cream cheese, chocolate pudding and cool whip and adored with chocolate shavings. Yummy! If you are not a chocolate fan, use your favorite instant pudding!
