Too many cooks spoil the broth

As I was browsing On Demand free movies, I spotted two movies by actor Woody Allen and decided to spend my night watching 'Shadows and Fog.' The movie was tedious. I wish it focused more on solving the case of the mysterious serial killer rather than delving into lengthy subplots that over-complicated the story. . consequently, I turned it off at the unsuitable whorehouse scene.

@LadyDuck So far, I like one of his movies. I haven't seen all of them yet. The rest I've watched were quite lame.

@LadyDuck I've missed that one. I have to check it out. I liked him in 'Manhattan Murder Mystery' with Diane Keaton. They were funny as husband and wife.

Allen has averaged making a movie a year for the past 50 years--most are forgettable but those 2-3 that aren't make up for the losers.

@GreatMartin I've enjoyed him in 'Manhattan Murder Mystery.' I couldn't finish watching 'Shadow and Fog.' Yes, most of his movies are dull..same old boring long monologues.

I hate when I have to turn a movie off after I got done searching for one. I did that a few times already.

@sharon6345 Yes, it ticks me off too. I thought this movie would be good as it began mysterious, but it went way off the subject and drifted into a confused boring plot.

@rahulvsmokiee Yes, I like the movies that have a good suspenseful twist. It keeps me on the edge of my seat. However, this mystery movie by Woody Allen had no thrills.

I would not want to watch those type of movies either.

The movies that are saturated with too many characters and not enough substance are not worth watching. This movie started out interesting but turned sour.

@epiffanie Yea...it's a waste of time to see an uninteresting half-baked movie.
