I took myself to Netflix: Still Alice.

I wanted to rest my feet after coming and going in the morning. I wasn´t sleepy so a napwas out of the way. And I was at the computer for some time, but I could not place the laptop in a good position for my feet. I closed the laptop then and settled for a movie. A friend of mine had told me about Still Alice, the moving story about a woman that was diagnosed with Alzheimers. The film was well done and the actor were superb. The main role was played by Julianne Moore who won an Oscar for her role. The movie made me think about life and how we should live it. I wholly recommend it.

I have heard of this movie. Will have to go watch it at some point. I have the streaming program on Netflix now and could watch online anytime. I keep forgetting I have it and end up watching something I recorded on my DVR or something that is on TV. Thanks for reminding me.

@marguicha ...I like my cable. Lots to choose from. And, then I have Netflix too if I can't find something on.

I found out just now that I was paying for the Dbox. So I decided to use what I had. Better than watching the same reruns everyday

I saw this and love Julliane. She is one of my favorite actresses. Glad you also enjoyed the film. Netflix is rule to me.

I loved the film. And Julliane Moore did a wonderful job. Now, as I turned to TV, I found out that they would soon show Magnolia also by her.

I read it and saw the film within a few days of each other. I thought the film was better than the book.

The film was very moving and was not made to shed easy tears.
