I want to thank ya'll for standing behind my writing, and reading the tidbits that I have been working on this month. I know that it's hard to read bits pulled out of a bigger story, but still, THANK YOU! I hit 20,000+ words written today! I was lameting on being stuck, earlier and I came up with a few trails to follow, so below is a bit of that..... Oh and I know it's rough, editing will come later Nadia looked at Benjamin with a slight frown, "Now what was this about your meeting?” “I will be able to finish out my degree, with Terry as my advisory,” they both chuckled, the man was huge, terrifying looking, and a sweetheart. After a moment he continued. “They offered to let me continue the same degree along into masters and such, but I just don’t see a need for it. I can’t build huge buildings here, we don’t need roads, or parking garages, or any of the normal things one works into. Oh, we will always be building and improving the buildings and such here in Camp Tree Top, but to keep learning towards normal civilization…. I don’t see the need.” Nadia looked sad, “but I know your dream was to build to the sky.” He grinned, “maybe, but we are pretty close right now already. It’s ok dear, I found something else that I think I will end up loving. They are looking at creating a new degree as I requested, a masters in JOAT technologies.” “Joat?” “Jack of all trades.” She stared at him, her mouth dropping open. After a long moment she blinked and then said, “well…. That’s probably the most useful master’s degree I’ve ever heard of!"

You are doing wonderful and I know you will finish. Keep plugging away it is hard to write a long book or story. I had many idea but the dialog gets me down on this one. I have to stick to technical manuals where I can do good on them. I have written them with easy but what you are dong is not so easy for me. I wish you the best of luck on this and I know you will finish.

Way to go on 20+K! I'll hit 20 K tomorrow before I head out to my writing group. I think you should consider joining one locally or find one online. Nice snippet!

the local one meets too far away half of the time, and while i am work for the other half, so I kinda just gave up on that idea.

@KristenH sometimes they are that close, they meet in 2 different nearby towns, but thats rarely at a time I could go. Or if I do, I'd only catch the last 30 minutes of it or so. I know i need to find SOMETHING to get out of the house, it's just super hard, knowing I'd have to go alone.

@Jessicalynnt Oh no. That's a bummer. You can always online writing groups or joining writing lists. I know what you mean--the local RWA region is a hour away from me, while my local writing group isn't too far from where I live. 20 minutes away to be exact.

Lots of free time, no kids, hubby gone most of the time for class, clinicals and work, and no friends or life outside of home and work, lol, not something I would wish on anyone, good for getting NANO and mylotting done though
