My first one is in chinese letters, says Money, Power, Respect and no I dont regret it or any of my other ink

@Castlerock34 Full sleeves are sooo hot!! I like your half sleeve as well! Must of hurt like a bi%&% especially on the inner side of your arms

would love to see pictures of all your first inks. Tattoos are so beautiful and amazing. I really wanted to get ink from every spot i traveled around the world.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Hahaha thats great!! I love my half sleeve and don't regret it for a minute. I actually would like to add onto my arm and make it a full sleeve

I had one just over 10 years ago, right top are, tribal - I guess they are pretty common for a first tattoo. Don't regret it at all but I've always been conscious that any tattoos I could get I would be able to cover up for job purposes etc. Do you have ink? Do you regret it?

@Castlerock34 Sounds good - I'm not against them in any way but I think if I had another one I would make sure it was something that meant something. I was thinking of the first letter of my wife and children kind of mixed together into some kind of pattern. The idea works in my head but not sure how I would complete it.

@djgarner86 thats why tattoo artist are so amazing. I would come into the shop and tell her about my idea and she would make it come to life on my skin. Its like she could see what I saw. Every peice I have means something I wouldnt get it otherwise

oh I have lots of ink. I only regret one piece. It is a dragon on my right shoulder. My back just looks odd with that there. Its not the worst tattoo. The one in the picture is one I have on my left arm

Mine is of a simple linework wolf and a triple moon, all in blue. I designed it. Even though I haven't been Pagan, or religious, for several years, I don't regret it. It's just a part of me. But I want more tattoos.

that is great thank you for sharing. you sure are brave to design one yourself and have it tattooed. you must be very good. I am a drawer and painter but I guess I dont have enough confidence to have it on my body and still like it for 30 years you know? your awesome :-)

My first tattoo was a small dragon on my top left shoulder with my son's name. Nope... no regret.

not sure when just saying 'ink' started covering tattooing in general. I have none, partly from dislike of needles but also not thinking of any image I'd want to carry round on my flesh for my whole life

Usually when someone says"Ink" normally people know what that refers to especially if they have tattoos. I guess I was only looking for people that have tattoos to comment. I am not trying to sound rude at all but people are posting that they will never get ink or no i dont have ink. I think the title of my post states"If you have ink, what was your first tattoo and do you regret it now?" I dont know why there is such a confusion. Maybe it should read people with tattoos tell me about your first tattoo.

my first tattoo is a small one on my wrist that reads "we're all mad here". it's my favorite part from alice in wonderland and when i'm finished with grad school and have my career set i'm going to add onto it with a little image of a tree branch and the smile of the chesire cat
