is a place actually not a man. The Burning Man Festival actually. It all started in the mid 80's. Read about that here: Susan Surandan was on a talk show this morning talking about this event. It sounded really interesting so I did some research. In 297 days the man will burn again. August 28th until September 5 in 2016. Art, sculpture and other ways of self expression. It is a get together once a year in the desert at Nevada's Black Rock and create a temporary metropolis that is dedicated to such things as community, art, self-expression and reliance. Do you know of it? Been there?

@celticeagle maybe not. We didn't really go out much to experience a lot of the Vegas lifestyle.

I always wondered what they were referring to, whenever I heard someone talking about the 'burning man'.

I've never heard of this being done before, nor would I be interested in going. I wouldn't mind hanging out on a beach, but not for that type of thing.

I don't know that I would either. Sand blowing all around, sand storms, etc. Doesn't sound like a real good time.

I did not know about it, but if I lived in the USA, I would probably try to go and see what it is all about. I'm sure it would be an experience.

There's much talk of it every year here in the Bay Area. Many hipsters go. I never have.

I hadn't either. A festival in the sandy desert no less.
