I Couldn't Remember How Old I Am

Yesterday on the way home, I was trying to remember how old someone was. So I was trying to compare their age with mine. Trouble was, I couldn’t remember how old I was. I thought that I was 51 or 52. Nope I’m older than that. It finally came to me. Have you ever had trouble remembering how old you are?

@topffer So I'm 20 years old. I'm told that I don't look 50 something.

@Susan2015 Of course you look 20 years old and a few weeks. A gentleman would never try to count the weeks.

@topffer Then I'm stuck at 20 then. Wait, those years are not all good. So I better start aging again. I'll stay with my 50 something.

Sometimes I am off a year. I try not to think about my age because it makes me feel so old.

I don't want to be younger as I'm waiting for 62 to retire @NeldaHoxie

No, I don't! But my wife when asked how old she is, she would say - - I stopped thinking about my age since I turned 40!

No, if I have a doubt, I always remember the year I was born, so it's easy to calculate.

It is probably commonplace among women because they lie about their age so often throughout their lives that they eventually convince their selves.

@Asylum I for one have never lied about my age. I don't see the point.

@Susan2015 How can you be certain of that if you do not remember how old you are? The one time that I could not remember how old I was I checked my birth certificate to find out, but sadly I cannot read Latin.

Nope, I have never forgotten how old I was. However, once I get a bit older, I probably wouldn't mind forgetting it.

That is so weird because I do the same thing too. Most of the time i try to convince myself I am younger than I actually am. I still tell people I am in my late 20's :-)

I am always worst with numbers and there have been ample incidents not only here at MyLot but also in real world.
