@poehere You're a good person. And interesting just cause you live in a place I can only imagine.
Whoops on the fascinating start out the gate. Tremulous, ice falling on us as we step out the door, almost slipping on the stoop- that was town life.
Now its out in the county life. Think wooden deck and about five feet up from the frozen ground. Who did not bother to put a second railing below the first on this structure? (My day-mare: wondering if I am going to ski off that deck, right into a hospital?)
So far this Autumn I've viewed mist rising over the seasonal creek below us as I walk down to Peter burro, morning and not warm yet. Peter fed hay, I head back to clear the car's glass cause I need to make a commute.
Soon. Too soon we could be facing roads that turn me whiter with fear. For now I stare at the rising mist and listen to duck chatter.

Now that was a weather report worth reading. Very descriptive, full of adventure and you make me see what you were talking about. I like these type of posts that can draw a person in and make them feel and see what they are seeing. Well done.

@AbbyGreenhill Blessed be us. The winds could go to 45 miles an hour. The temps up in the low 50s. Crazy sci-fi for this time of year and yet I love it.

I certainly hope you don't slip & slide off your deck. I hate winter snow & ice
