I wrote an item about this site almost a month ago. Basically, the story is kind of a pass along the rip. The person who bought Seekyt in July had not done his due diligence. He had listened (or read) statistics which were totally out of date. The sad story is that there were few users of the site, but there were statistics which suggested 45k. Having bought the site he thought he could contact the old users, get them writing their fingers off based on promises. Some did, some didn't. Those who participated were promised payments. A promise is a comfort to a fool. For people were not paid. Whatever revenue was collected was seised by the owner to refill his empty pocket. Then, to stop people from reaching the threshold there was the 'article rejected for..." and the reasons were rubbish. This one was 'too promotional' but there wasn't a single promotion in it. That one was 'too like...' and it was totally original. Now, Seekyt has changed into one big advertising site. All the posts there selling something. Avoid this site.

Is this some sort of revenue earning site and trying to take over for or be like BB that is now a ghost town? So what you are saying is this is a bad site to sign up for and work for. Thanks for the heads up on this one and I am sure people will be happy to know this.

Thanks for giving us the heads up on this site. Since the demise of Associated Content/Yahoo, Squidoo, Bubblews and HubPages with their sinking revenue, many of us are looking for a way to replace the online income these sites helped generated. It's good to know what NOT to waste time on.
