Waste it or take it home

We just had a gathered together lunch. Good food. Some of it was remnants of last night's Chinese restaurant's dinner. Some folks think it odd to join leftovers into another meal. I don't. I find it a sin against nature to toss that good food into the dumpster. It fed us last night and today, lunch time upon us, I put it in with some other vegies and noodles that sat lonesome in the fridge and heated it. We are fed and able to continue on our plump ways.

I hate to waste food, so combining some with leftovers is something that I do.

when I cooked for myself as myson ate at work because of hius odd hours, I had leftovers and made chili mac once and several good com bos that tasted great. Nothing wrong with leftovers as long as they are not ancient.

I love leftovers and certainly hate the idea of wasting food. Sometimes leftover taste even better the next day
