Setting Up A Blog

I had been wanting to start my own blog with its own web address for about a year now. Well, a few weeks ago, I sat down here at my computer and looked at the different online website places where I could go to build my own website. I finally chose Weebly. The first thing I did was chose the layout theme. I wanted to get something that would be easy to look at and not have a lot of clutter. Then I started looking around at the different things I could do with my website. I can edit, add photos, add pages, and other things. I'll tell you what. It took me about 10 to 15 minutes to just get it figured out how to even get a blog started. I gave up on it and I was actually almost to the point where I could write and then publish it. After almost getting the thing figured out, I let it sit for a day or two, went back to it, and then wrote my first blog. I published my first blog under my own www address and it is now online!! I now have about 4 or 5 posts written and will be writing more about knitting, crocheting, and yarn.

They sound like interesting blogs, can you give us the titles of your two blogs?

Oops. I have one blog. It is I Play With Yarn at the website with the same name. I have 3 or 4 posts on it now. I just finished one a little while ago. Sorry about the 2 blogs confusion.

Kudos to you for getting started with your blog... I have been working on my own website that I am building up from scratch and it has taken me years to learn all the coding to make it work the way I want it to. :)

Oh my goodness. You are so brave to do all your own coding. I don't have the patience for that. I took a website class and nearly had panic attacks! LoL Good luck to you, too.
