50's Band or i'm just lucky / myLot

For the past week every night i have all these lovely crickets coming into my house and as i turn off the lights to watch tv, that is when they seem to come out more. I have heard crickets in the house are good luck and i don't mind that but when they start singing like Buddy Holly and the Crickets i start to wonder? What is your take on this?..am i lucky?..am i being visited? or what?

This is weird, we have plenty of crickets outside, but no one ever came inside the house. Are they searching for something? (Brownies??)

Watching Tele in a dark room is not great for eyes. Probably these Crickets come to warn you about this. Next, the crickets do not have tele at their place. So they find it odd when they find you watching something on the Tele. They find it fascinating to them - what makes you glued to your tele set

Oh wait... ever since you have been "R"... they can be watching you...

How nice

! I had a few home crickets when I was living in the countryside, but the ones here seem to be shy, and I never heard one in my house. You are certainly lucky !

I hardly ever hear crickets much. But I always hear, at the end of the summer that is, Cicadas. They are loud, real loud. And ugly and nasty looking also.

@inertia4 sometimes i have to put a paper towel over the sink drain..i think they are coming in through them...crickets not cicadas..too late and cold for them..stupid critters should be banned..ugh..

@Rosekitty If you close the windows are they still loud? I would doubt that. Maybe they have some sort of device that has a frequency that would deter them from being so close to the house.
