I Feel Stuck

I feel stuck inside my own world of silence. (not a great thing to have happen when you just join a site) But none the less this is where I am at. With the state of the world being portrayed in the news, attacks on Paris, counterattacks on Syria I sort of am left without words. At least words that are up lifting. Anyone have any good news happening in their life? I would love to hear about it.

Some days it's better not to watch the news or listen to the radio. Good news? My neigbour loved the presents we bought for her 40th birthday, my husband has the day off work, we accidentally left the heating on so the house is cosy, and it's NOT raining.

@CRanney I wrote about it the other day. We bought her 40 presents because she was 40. She was supposed to open one a day until Christmas but was more like a 4 year old and opened them all at once.

What the attacks and counter attacks are not good news at all. I pray there would be peace but it looks like that is not about to happen. We can only but pray for God alone can control the situation.

We thought we were going to have to move to Wisconsin and now we may have a chance to stay where we are. Will know more today so that is good news for us.

@simone10 Oh that is good for sure! Winters are hard in Wisconsin I hear but I'm sure there are many reasons you want to stay where you are. I'm glad you got that news.

As I indicated in my introduction - the only discussion I've started so far - I spend a lot of my time swearing at the television or radio. Not good news, perhaps - but a good swear is good for anyone!

Good morning my friend, I too feel like there is so much doom and gloom among what I read and hear today and the past couple of days. I'm hoping that the bulk of these depressing discussions will pass over the next day or so and then we can move on and enjoy this beautiful season.

Good news. I'm blessed with many dancing friends from all over the world and am going to spend a week dancing with them in Vegas.
