What do you take for granted?

Since Mom has been here I have cut way back on attacking the garden weeds.
And yet here I sit groan mumbling about nasty thumb/ joint hand pain. Left hand. You ever tried to open a pill bottle one handed? Steer a car without a left hand for back up? Snap a coat or vest closed without the use of that left hand? It all takes practice. Handy dandy ibuprofen is taking the edge off.
What would you miss if it were gone or impaired?

My eyesight. I could deal with loss of hearing but not loss of sight.

@abbygreenhill I agree though I'd want hearing, too- due to allergies I've had days of less hearing and when it comes to driving, that can be unnerving.

@sallypup I stopped driving when we moved south. We are together 24/7 and only have one car so I don't bother driving!
