Etsy For The Holidays

I think this year I am going to do my Christmas Shopping on Etsy. Not all of it, mind, but for atleast two or three people I will.
I only shop for a handful of people, two of which are kids, so etsy probably won't cut it there. I don't want to spend over $30.00 per
person either so I will have to see what exactly I will do.
I have been trying to make a conscious effort to do more of my purchasing via etsy. It supports the "artist" and since I buy beauty
supplies, it's also a healthier choice. I have a lotion "Woolen Blanket" it smells like my idea of winter, it also takes very little
of the stuff to make a difference. My skin is baby soft where I apply it, and it doubles as a perfume.
I am getting a bit sidetracked though. I will most likely purchase another Woolen Blanket lotion for a family member who enjoys the smell
as much as I do, and then for another I'll be looking for diabetic lotion. If I can find something "girlish" and "pretty" for my niece then
more power to me.
Have you started Holiday Shopping?

LOL--my shop name is LumaMarkCrossStitch.
Don't know if you'd like anything there, but feel free to take a look.

@I could not find the shop for some reason! I copied and pasted the name directly into the search but it is coming up with nothing.

This is a great idea. I hope that more will follow you in doing this. The folks on Etsy will be very appreciative I would think.

Yes. I like to think I am helping stay at home mom's and dad's, or those who are no longer able to work in the working field.

@celticeagle When I was a little girl, my mom would go to flea markets and sell her crafts. We held one at my elementary school like once a year and she
did very well there. I guess it's just paying it forward really, since a lot of the things we were able to afford was because of mama's crafting

How much is that lotion? I need a bottle.. was thinking just store brand or whatever. I might check it out if it's not really expensive.

Check etsy for SweetClementineSoap. That is the name of the shop. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for it, but it was under $10.00
I am sure.

I have not shopped ebay in a very long time. I bought one thing from there once, but haven't since. I love etsy for it's wide variety of things,
not just homemade / hand crafted, but aids to help with crafting.

I am the type of person who would want to let the reipient have the gift already. I couldn't do the shopping throughout the year thing.
Sometimes I can barely hold out until Christmas!

I am waiting for the lists from my daughter. I usually shop on Amazon because she likes books and games fand music and I have plenty of Amazon money right now.

I haven't been trying to get amazon gift cards lately. In fact I haven't been on swagbucks or any site like it in months! I do have
enough swagbucks to get two $5.00 gift cards though. I usually do shop amazon, but this year want to be a little different. I will probably
shop amazon for my niece and nephew though.
