Outside its just starting to warm up a bit but it was d own to 38 not usual for Southern California . However I did manage not to overspend and actually came home with some left over money. I have noticed rite aide's prices on some things have gone up fify cents on a box of plain saltine crackers. Must be because of the coming holidays They've a lot of buy one get second one for fifty percent off. If you check the prices on those items they have been raised too from ten cents on some to 3o cen ts on others. Gto to be the Christmas urge to make all they can I guess.

The gimick they use is to sell another of the item at half off but I noticed the goiing price had risen 10 to 30 cents on these same items. they were cheaper before November lol.

The thing is though they could make more by lowering the prices as more People would be able to afford to buy more they think that if they put prices up they will make money it makes common sense that if prices are lower more People will buy I check out on line where the offers are and that is where I will shop Keep warm

Your lows sound like ours. Having moved I stay out of the stores more.I had noticed everything going up around here all summer.

That is bad and saddening, but the price escalations during special festive occasions seem to be a trend these days. When we had Diwali a few days back, the price rise was very much felt. Even the lights they had were about twice than what they were last year. We managed to get the last years' repaired and they did work good some way. But Christmas is still more than a month away. Maybe the sellers have realized that people start buying goodies much before the season starts. Oh, yes, please check your PM.

That is quite cold for your part of the world. Our lows are between 25 and 35 degrees here. Freezes at night, thaws during the day. Makes for a lot of mud.

Rite Aid has been bought by Walgreens so that may be the reason but of course I can't be sure.

Rite Aid was just bought out by Walgreen's and Walgreen's will be shutting half of those stores down. The ones that are not making a profit.
