It's Been a Week Since I Posted

I was looking for something to read to a friend and realized I haven't posted a discussion in a week. I've been reading others' discussions and participating there, yes; but nothing on my own for a week. Why? I've been wrestling with my emotions since the Paris attacks. I'm furious that Americans think we should coddle these people who have sworn to destroy us. I'm upset that a concert venue was a target, given how much time I spend in concert venues (I went to 70 concerts last year). I've been doing some soul-searching in terms of praying for the country and the people. I'm meditating on the Psalms and the Proverbs to find peace, because I know that only God can provide that peace. Meanwhile, I'll get back into writing here and at PP (and cheering the demise of the B-place...while still feeling bad for the people who were conned).

Never mind, you should not force you to make a discussion if you think it is not worth to share to others. It is good you share a qualified discussion than you force to make discussion but it tasteless, you will get nothing...

I have the same question as @boiboing what do you mean by "coddle"? We need to get rid of those terrorists or soon we will all be a colony of ISIS.

@boiboing and @LadyDuck - "coddle" in southern lingo means treating someone nicely, especially someone who doesn't deserve it (like a criminal or a person who's wronged you).

@FourWalls I know the meaning of the word. I just wonder how locking up men and torturing them without charge or trial and sticking them in Guantanamo for 14 years, could possibly be called coddling. Your country spits on human rights legislation. Coddling is not the word that I would choose.
