Mom is scheduled to be back this afternoon or evening. Hubby is home from the hospital. We have much to talk about. Plus the added burden: he could have bled out right here in our kitchen. Just minutes can change a life or take that life away. Its talk and share and hug and talk and share and listen and pause and hug. Mom will be back. She is my Mom and yet she is not in the way I have felt during my own years. This pow wow time is needed and necessary and breathing, precious breathing.

Sounds l iike you have much to share with your mom and your hubby so I hope everything turns out just wonderful. yes sometimes minutes ca n either save a life or end one so God bless the paramedics who do get there on ti e.I did bless those paramedics a few years back who lifted the overweight me onto a back board when I fell and crushed my shoulder joint. They were there within about six minutes of the call the elderly couple made for me when I had a bad fall beside my favorite restauraunt.

Oh @hatley I am sorry you fell and hurt yourself like that. I have never seen a human bleed like my hubby did. It looked like someone had murdered someone. The hospital put him through a blood transfusion pretty quickly when he got there. Horrifying.
