Television Review - Xena Warrior Princess - Many Happy Returns

A late closing season comedy based adventure for Xena, featuring a sacrificial cult, a sacrificial victim saved but unhappy to find herself still breathing and a magic helmet that enables the wearer to fly.
Added to this is the escalating war of practical jokes between Xena and her sidekick, Gabrielle, with snakes planted under camping blankets, and buckets of rotten fish.
In this confusion, the flying hat of Hermes falls into the hands of the villains, in effect, pitching Xena against a Superman-like barbarian evil warlord.
Xena introduces the suicidal sacrificee to Aphrodite, played by the vivacious Alexanda Tydings, who proceeds to save the girl by corrupting her values, by unfortunately making the girl fall in love with the son of the very (now flying) warlord who was trying to sacrifice her in the first place.
This episode nicely inter-links three or four silly plot threads into one - a lightweight pantomime romp before the more serious stories that closed the Xena adventures forever.

Not a movie but a long running TV series - spin off to Hercules The Legendary Journeys - haven't seen the computer game version

it is more than hinted at in many episodes such as ones where they get in the bath together - the series knowingly teased fans with the idea

@CaptAlbertWhisker it was a regular are they or aren't they tease that was very knowing by the producers as the show had a huge gay community fan base.

My favorite part of Xena is the armor! Xena principle, the less the armor covers the more defense it gives!
