Holidays approaching fast!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas. It has always been my favorite holiday. All the happy songs and movies to cheer any Grinch up. And of course presents. Who doesn't like giving and receiving those right? Now that I am an adult and a mom, I don't necessarily dread the holidays, but I dread the time crunch on trying to figure out what to get people and on time! It can be a very stressful time as an adult. As a kid you mainly just wait for "Santa" to come with his reindeer. Now it is my turn to let my little 1 know about Santa Clause and Frosty the Snowman. Onward to new traditions! But I don't mind keeping some of the older ones as well.

Christmas is an exciting holiday. And I agree, the older we get the more stressful it becomes. I am not as excited as I used to be about christmas. But for my kids I am. Seeing them opening their gifts and seeing their eyes light up are the only things I want for christmas.

My son can actually open his presents this year. Last year he was too little. I'm excited to see his face light up!

@DanieGirl80587 I remember when my kids were very small like that. How excited they were. They still get excited though. And that means everything to me.

The youngest person in the household will be 16 in a few days. Some of the magic is gone. I mean, I believe in Santa and still give presents from Santa but the kids keep trying to tell me he's not real.
