Spread the 'love' around myLot!

I don't know about you, but the No Responses category makes me sad. Hey, I have an idea - why don't we all run over there and spread some myLot love (comments) so that those No Responses can be removed from that category! If you run out of No Responses to comment on then visit the New User category - the more myLot love the better. Photo: pixabay.com/en/love-all-space-fly-3d-star-font-209900/

Sadly the fact remains that some of the 'no response' posts don't have responses because they're practically impossible to respond to.And quite a lot will disappear once Alex gets round to cleaning up the ones that break the rules.

We all start on that page...when I went to check mine was there until someone responded. I try first on those I can understand.

I go to Recent, New user, and No Response regularly - I like being the first on discussions I can comment on.

I do now and then go there but sometimes I just cannot think of anything to say. When I can add something to the posts I do.

Just say 'hello' and welcome them to myLot - that's a good thing to say.

I'm just learning to use this site. I am trying to post a few articles each day and then trying to comment on everyone else's posts, but I'm finding it difficult to keep up with all of the options. Is there an easier way to keep up with all of it?

I fly by the seat of my pants mostly. I usually respond to all the comments I received on my discussions, then I love on to notifications, and then I check People, new Discussions. Then move over to Explore. Someone who has a more clear way of doing it will probably come along and explain it. I do my own things

I can't agree with you more. Actually it's one of my favorite category on Mylot. After visiting the "most recent" category and commenting on some discussions I am interested in, I would usually move to "no responses" category.

Nice in theory but with limited time I prefer to stick with my friends of old - and there's no way they would get no responses on their posts.

Sticking to 'friends' is the main reason why there is so much disparity here. To see great posts being ignored is not a pretty scene. I am not saying that all those posts with no responses are great but there are some great posts there.I go for good posts without looking at who has posted them.

@slund2041 As soon as you start a discussion it goes into no responses until you get the first comment.

I know every post does start there, but sadly whenever I pop into that category at the moment, the posts are of the sort that could be close to being plagiarised, or are just poor copies of information to be found elsewhere. I find that sad as that is not what this site should be about.

I check the no response category quite often and respend. I know what that is like, as I have been there, and it doesn't feel good to put your heart and soul into a discussion, and then no one goes and responsd back to it. I like to help those out with no responses, and I am sure they appreciate it too. I have also gone to the new user categoy and responded to discussions there as well.

@AbbyGreenhill I think I would too, as if it doesn't get any by that time, it never will. Fortunately, I have never had to do that as of yet, as i get responses after only a few minutes.

All of the discussions start there! I go there as soon as I start a discussion and it's there. But then there are those that sit a long time w/o a response.
