Long time ago there was the best response which decided by the discussion maker. After I left Mylot for several years, now I found that this feature is not available any more. But sometimes I really think that choosing the best response is interesting. And it is a kind of appreciation to the people who comment your discussions.

There was some benefits in this, but it also caused a lot of arguments at times when someone picked a poor response purely because of who wrote it.

@youless I realise that and have even chosen a response that disagreed with me if it was good enough. Sometimes it was difficult to decide when to choose one in case a better response was added later.

I remember usiing it myself, but I found it hard to use, as I would end up with more than one response that deserved to get it. I am kind of glad they don't have it anymore, as like others have said, it did cause friction, and there are some that felt they deserved it more than the one who received it. Not having it keeps that from happening, and gives me one less thing to have to think about.

Doesn't this sort of all under mindless quizzes. I know it can be fun to make a few of them but is this really a good discussion topic. I normally won't participate in some of them and now and then I will answer a question or two. But I sort of like discussion that are meaningful and you can get into them.

@youless OK I guess you have to ask a question and give some answers and the person chooses the best response. I guess it is OK but sort of seem like not a lot of fun to do also.

Do you think 2.2K is a lot? You are wrong. Here there is a Mylotter posted over 9K discussions already. She is my goal and I always hope one day I can catch up with her
