A Bible Scripture That I Love

Romans 8:38, 39 is my favorite scripture because it brings me COMFORT when I'm feeling disturbed about anything. It brings HOPE when I am troubled and COMFORT when I am sad and ASSURANCE when I feel that no one cares. What does it say? "For I am CONVINCED that neither death nor life, nor angels nor governments, nor things now here, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other creation will be able to separate us from GOD'S love, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Are you convinced that this is true? Nothing can separate us from God and HIS love for us. I have memorized this scripture and can call it to mind when I am feeling sad or weak or sorry for myself. As I repeat it, I remember that God is stronger than any problem I might have and it makes me feel better right away. Are you a Bible reader?

@esfes025 Right now I'm concentrating on Noah. Some might think that we know very little about Noah, since the story of Noah in Genesis is VERY short, but more is said about Noah in what is called the New Testament. Jesus spoke about Noah and so did some others. Luke 17:26; Hebrews 11:7 Some people think that Noah was a fictional character, but if Jesus talked about him, I'm sure Noah was a real, historical person, who actually lived and built the ark. What do you think?

I try to read some of the Bible every day. It's an old habit of mine and I always find something I enjoy. Right now I'm studying different persons in the Bible and finding it very interesting.

I used to be a Bible reader, but not so much any more. Maybe I should start again.

I really enjoy reading the Bible. There is so much to learn, for one thing and many comforting thoughts. As we contemplate what is going on in the world today, it's comforting to know that God has a PURPOSE for the Earth and HE promises that wickedness will END. Psalms 37:9-11; Revelation 21:3,4 I certainly put my faith in those promises. To find scriptural answers to questions you might have, go to this wonderful web site. I'm a Bible reader, but most of my favorite quotations are about helping the poor or hypocrisy. I don't have one for myself when I'm feeling low.

I just really like this scripture because it is so assuring that God cares for me and loves me, despite all that is going on around me in the world.
