I suddenly realized that several of my posts have been about Christmas .... do you think it is too early to start talking of Christmas ? We have had our first flurry of snow and we have had mulled wine and bought some presents so it should be okay ...... Are you excited about it or does it just kind of happen and then go for you ?

@Traceyjayne As far as I am concerned, it's never too early to talk about Christmas. I prepare for it all year long.

That's smart, at least you don't get hit all at once with the bills.

Christmas should be all year round, at least the intended attitude should be.

I work in retail, and it has been Christmas in our store since August, and Christmas music playing in the store since October. I'd rather wait until after thanksgiving to deal with Christmas, but the world likes it sooner and sooner and sooner. We usually put up or Christmas decorations in our home after Thanksgiving, but my son and husband started early this year so our decorations are already up. I'll just have to resign myself to having Christmas everwhere, at work, at home and online, until January at least.

I like starting projects for Christmas, if I have any, as early as February but I don't like seeing retail stores start displaying decorations before Thanksgiving.

I've been shopping for about a month now, so it's not too early to think about Christmas. I won't be excited until I'm done shopping. But the day still sort of comes and goes for me. I don't get any gifts, I just buy for my kids and that's it. It's fun to watch them open their gifts... But once that is over it's just like any other day.

Here in my country, it's never too early to talk about Christmas. In fact when September starts, Christmas songs are being played on the radio already....

Christmas is just around the corner! I can't believe the year went by so fast! I have this Santa mug I bought from Michaels after Christmas last year on sale, and it's still on my desk (I haven't put it away since) and now I can actually use it! I'm so excited for the colder days (Cold for California, lol) and spending time with family and my boyfriend! Happy Holidays!

I guess it's not. In our country, as early as September, there are already christmas decors in the malls and other public places.

@Traceyjayne Generally, on the first Sunday of January but there are some who takes their decorations on January 6. January 6 was the Three Kings Day before but it was changed and it is now on the first Sunday of January.

I don't get excited over Christmas, but this year circumstances have meant I have to start planning earlier than usual.

No, I think it is okay to talk about Christmas today, because it is a big day. It is a good idea if you make a preparation to face the big day. I am a moslem, I also prepare my big day about a month before the comes. Hope you will have a wonderful day in Christmas.
