A beautiful Tuesday evening

Spring has finally arrived. I mowed the lawn a couple of days ago and today Leticia found a hose end that waters the garden with almost no effort from us. So the sprinkler is throwing water, the birds try to bathe there and I feel very, very happy. My radishes are all out and the kale we transplanted last week is strong. It will not die out as we thought at first. My house is clean and ready for yet more visitors. Marta and Hector, my friends that come on Tuesdays, will arrive in a couple of hours. We have been separing more clothes that belonged to my mother for Marta to take to the old ladies home where she volunteers. The worls sings. Do you find some days happier than others?

I am very lucky because I have a small garden and Spring also means flowers and even my own pair of doves making their nest on a shrub.

I know. The older I get, the less I like Winter. For me, Spring is a source of joy.

I think that you feel very happy because you did your lawn. I know that when I do this action that it makes me feel very happy.

Aah! the very thought of Spring as we head into Winter, is a very desirable thought,but not something we'll get for around 3 months yet
