Totally Frustrated

I am so disgusted with my laptop I could scream. The arrow just keeps going around in circles. I'm timing and erroring out, and I can only keep one tab open and nothing else or it has a total fit and I can't do anything.
Black Friday is two days away. I will get a new computer tower and I will be able to communicate properly on the Internet once again, and I will start making decent money, and I will get back to my manuscript.
Notice all the I will's. I am determined that this laptop will not defeat me.
At least I haven't lost a post yet - maybe I shouldn't have said that.

I hope things go better for you. Have you tried emptying cache, defragging, and other methods to speed things up?

nothing worse when you fight issues like, esp when you know money is tight and could be better used somewhere else

@just4him Oh I am not saying it's not important I know it is. A fence was important to us to keep our dogs safe, but I would have rather had the money to pay of credit bills

@Jessicalynnt I agree. I do hope you are able to get a fence for your dogs. Getting your credit cards paid is more important.

@Marcyaz Dell has a good sale on towers right now. Having a good brand isn't always a guarantee - I got a HP several years ago and it was a lemon from the day I bought it until the motherboard fried within a couple years. It was also a Vista - I'm so glad that isn't around anymore.

oh its not good happened,you know sometimes when we think that i want to do this and that time something wrong happened and we say oh not at this time,so are you going for new one tomorrow?should your problem solve by formating pc or else?

What kind of connection do you have? Broadband? Dial-up? What OS are you using? How much RAM? The problem could be any or all of the above.

Broadband. I don't know what the RAM is. The computer is old and already been fixed once. I bought it used. I'm just glad it lasted this long.

I hope you find a great deal, and that you can get it setup right away. I know how aggravating it is to have a computer that half works. I went through that a few months back.

Although one never likes to see a computer crash and burn, if you look on the positive side at least it happened right before Black Friday, and you now have the opportunity to go out and get a new computer at a good price thanks to all the sales! Happy Thanksgiving to you!

So you'll still have this slower laptop, but with a newer tower you'll be able to use your PC again, I'm guessing? Were you able to get a new tower like you wanted? Not only would it be awful to lose a post for timing out wrong, but it would be awful to lose any updates to your novel you've made if your laptop isn't behaving properly.

No tower yet. I need to take care of Pip first. She needs surgery and that is not cheap. I've already lost updating to my novel from the desktop. However, I'm reworking it and hopefully I won't lose it again on this laptop. It's going to be a while before I can get a tower, I'm guessing next month.

Sorry your having troubles. I hope being a new tower with fix everything and you can get back to work. I remember when my laptop crashed and I was out if work for about a week. I was miserable more then anything. But I'm sending positive thoughts your way
