Time Socks

I think I fell into a vortex. Some rift in the space-time continuum. A place where only socks matter. Thick socks. Thin socks. Big socks. Little socks. Boxy socks Foxy socks. I have wasted an entire day, just figuring out the dimensions of my socks. And tomorrow is Thanksgiving. So much to do. For one thing, I didn't make them any supper here, and they are looking hungry. And this is the first time I have been here on myLot. Apologies for my absence are heartfelt. I am sorry all the way down to my socks. Time is a fleeting thing. Tempus fugit, so they say. Time slips away and it won't come back. Time socks. So, time to see what you have all been doing today.

What were you doing with your socks? I have been known to organize them all by colour. But it doesn't take all day!

Second erratic day, yesterday we were out for the car inspection, today we both have to go for the annual eyes checkup, not a lot of time for myLot. Happy Thanksgiving to you.

If only I could manage the fuzzy yarn. Someone gave me this fuzzy yarn but it's terrible to work with.

@Jessicalynnt You really need some elasticity in yarn for looming, and those kinds of yarn are usually some kind of string with fuzzy stuff on it, and no give to it.

I once invented socks with cute slogans that you could bundle up with rubber bands and dip in colored inks. They were called Life Socks, then you Dye.

Some people get really hung up about socks. There for a while my husband was always saying he needed more socks. He didn't like the ones he had. Now he has two (small) drawers full he isn't game to complain any more.

Socks are so important to you overall attitude and well-being. There's nothing worse than having wet socks freezing to your toes in February.

I was wondering what you want to do with the socks.... I have never successfully knitted a sock before, though I tried to knit one. Perhaps I can try knitting my first pair of socks next year, certainly not now. Hope you will figure this out soon.

I love socks .... and am a bit picky about what they are made off....soggy socks in summer or winter...yeucchhhh ...... I hope you had a good thanks giving.... with or without socks....

I love a good pair of comfortable socks. We did a lot of prepping ahead of time yesterday for Thanksgiving. Hopefully today we won't have so much to do. Happy thanksgiving!

I know first 4 socks but what is boxy scoks and foxy socks, though sound is interesting. I bought last week three pair of socks all are grey color , I dont like black and white. You thought for color while buy it.
