Is Protection Needed?

@Marcyaz liked a comment I made and thought it would be a good thing to share ways to protect your work and maybe catch someone who plagiarizes it. With Mylot some things may not work but here are some things I've done in the past. 1. Make an unusual spelling of a word by either writing it 'Phonetically'. Another way is to add or 'forget' a letter. These are ways to make a 'unique' pattern to your work. 2. Use your pen name, user name or an acronym as a tag. 3. Using your pen name, acronym or special word within your article also makes for an easy find. Anything to make your articles unique in search engines will make it easier to find if stolen. Beyond that there are other things but this is a brief suggestion for protecting your work. So what do you think? Is Protection Needed for MyLot works?

I think that plagiarism will become a problem here just as it has on other sites. I like your suggestions. I was going to start putting my user name as a tag on all my posts.

@Dalane I've been able to protect most of my writings by this and a few other little tricks? Even used a dyslexia trick (how I wrote a drow).

I wouldn't have thought of doing these things but I guess it is a good idea.

I used to put a signature on my things, but got lazy about it.
