Black Friday Muscle Foods

So while most people used the black friday deals to spend a fortune on clothes, electricals and toys we only bought two Black Friday deals and they were both from Muscle foods. Muscle foods is an online butcher (that also sells other foods and protein supplements) We buy our meat from them as it is all really low fat, high protein and fantastic quality and cheaper than the super markets in some cases. We usually buy their 5KG bags of chicken breasts which have a RRP of £39 but are always on offer for £25 which is a bargain. Anyway they had a few deals on throughout the week and we bought two bundles Bundle one : 5KG Chicken Breast 2 x 6oz Hache steaks 10 x 6-7oz Rump Steaks 5 x 400g Extra lean british mince meat 400g Pork loin steaks 2.27Kg Chicken breast sausages 2 x 4oz extra lean beef burgers All for £88.50 Bundle 2 20kg Chicken breast - £72.50 Obviously we will be freezing most of this when it arrives, we have a large chest freezer so that's not a problem. I think we shouldn't need to buy chicken for about 6 months which will reduce our shopping bill substantially as it is the main meat we eat an we probably won't have to buy mince or steaks for 2 months. Did you get any unusual black friday deals ? P.S I do have a referral code if anyone does want one but I won't post it here in case I get in trouble x

I didn't buy anything on Black Friday. I have heard a lot of great things about the meat company that you mention. A lot of my friends that do Slimming World use it x

I can imagine it would be great for people on slimming world as I believe it is a mainly low fat diet. I was thinking of trying slimming world but haven't built up the courage to go yet x

Are you sure the chicken can last for 6 months? I think in our house, it will last probably just a couple of months. There are many ways to cook chicken. A large pot of herbal chicken soup will use up quite a lot of chicken.

We don't have thanks giving either but we seem to have inherited black friday for some reason, normally I am not a fan but I can't complain with a bargain that will save my food shopping bills x

I like buying packs of meat but it's hardly worth it now there is only the two of us. Pork is now about the cheapest meat in our area. Luckily we like pork!

Yeah I am really not a fan of pork, I used to be a vegetarian so I am a bit fussy, the steaks and pork loins are all for my partner I won't eat any of them x

@JudyEv It was sausages that brought me back over to the dark side. My sister was taunting me with one saying ' go on have a bite' and I gave in lol x

That sounds really good, we used to buy meat li,e that in the uk...bug havd not hot a freezer big enough here in spain.... plus they don't butcher the meat in the way we like it.... bug our favourites are chicken and pork.... and I love steak...but I am the only one...plus that is very expensive.... so we don't bother with that.....

I am not sure if they some of the online butchers do international postage, it would probably be pricey but worth looking into as you save so much on the actual meat x

I like stocking up on frozen meat, and other foods. When I do my weekly shopping, I only have to buy bread, dairy and produce. It saves a ton of money.
