A quick goodnight

I've got to be to work in an hour. We have a light show every holiday season at the park across from where I work. My work doesn't sponsor it, by "we" I mean the village that the store is located in.. in any case, I digress, I have to head out earlier so that I can beat the traffic and not be late for work. I'm off tomorrow night, gonna make stuffed shells, do more Christmas shopping and spend time with my nephew. I've got my nieces presents checked off, started on my nephew's, got my grandfather's first present, I know what to get an uncle, but the other three people I have no idea. I try not to go the gift card route whenever possible. Shopping is so stressful!

stocking stuffer? Yes you are right. I have my nieces stocking here somewhere but my nephew kept his. I don't know that I'll do the stocking stuffers this year.

@ScribbledAdNauseum ...Just an idea. I also sometimes put one in a card I send to certain people.

@celticeagle I did that year before last, just a $5.00 gift card in with the xmas card.

It depends on the person and where they live on whether I would give a gift card or not. When my brother and I lived in Vegas, my grandkids lived in Tennessee so we would send them gift cards every Christmas.

Gift cards would be the easier safer route for gifts that have to travel a long distance. Fed ex and their two truck mishaps last year come to mind. Better to have a gift you know will get there in one piece.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That's the way I feel. Now that we are about an hour away from my grandkids, we are buying them gifts and will spend time with them on Christmas.

It's very pretty. THey change it up every few years. You can go through on a hayride or in your own vehicle. I forget the price.
