2 years child dead due to irresponsibility of nurse

in my city there is one government hospital where one 2 years old child was admitted because she fall down from forth floor of apartment,so she bring in hospital before two days ans she was very serious.
yesterday night her parents saw that oxygen pipe in nose little moved so they ask to nurse to come and see but she was sleeping and said its not my work ,its doctor work so when doctor come he will do.
so her parents don't know that its very serious problem ,they came in room and seat but doctor not came because its midnight and that nurse also not inform that so how doctor come but due to oxygen leak she cant get it proper and she finally dead.
in morning while doctor come and see then tell she is dead and her parents shock and told everything about last night.how nurse are so irresponsible for her job and if you not want to do job with seriousness then please don't do that because just for her sleep that child lost her life.

Such gross negligence of the nurse . She ought to be dismissed by this .
She might be sleeping but that's not a reason since she as a nurse in the hospital should always be on call - meaning even if she's sleeping she can be called to help the patients in the hospital.

@hiru84 they sometimes busy in their work and not do important work some are also ask for money to do work to whom already hospital paying for them but ask some extra.

hospital pay nurse to do her duty,so though she is sleeping but while need patients help the she has to go because its her job.but she think that why i wake-up and go,doctor will handle in morning but in between this one child has lost life.

not only you but all want to see she fired from there because this job is for help people and even they paid not in free so why you refuse it,its a big mistake and if she jail i not surprised,here girls rarely go to jail,all settlement done by money and second thing which is very bad to write here so i hope you understand.

That's really sad. Nurses should be more responsible for what they do, and I hope that the nurse you're talking about gets judged for what she did.

ya its really sad and i still feel that if someone put hand on nose and cant take breath then what happen so that was small child who cant say what she feel,how nurse irresponsible for it.she must punish.

@hiru84 you know here in most of hospital nurse ask for money while patient leave from hospital and some also ask first otherwise they not provide service properly.

yes she feel that why do some unnecessary thing in night instead of sleep but this sleep took life of small child which she never forget in her life and from now may be remember this thing while going to sleep.

yes you are right that must have to careful about this job because just by small mistake patients lost life.if she cant want to go then she can also send other for it,she must be punish.

As doctors or nurses, their responsibility is to save people's life , but most of them don't realise that.and they just think in that position they indeed earn so much money so that they don't care about what they should do and they just do what they want until one day they avoid doing their jobs .

yes you are right they think that they have enough money and not need some work but its call irresponsibility because of her mistake small baby no more and if she there on job then how can she refuse to work,i think she not deserve this job.

I always feel sad to see the news like this. Being a doctor and nurse can be easy, but it is not easy to be a responsible one. You must have a passion for your career so that you will be qualified with your job. I hope people will learn a lesson from it and will not make the same mistake.

@birjudanak Some people just pick a wrong job. Yes, the salary can be nice but you don't like it and therefore you can not do it well. But many people don't realize it.

@youless yes thats why i said that if you not like then why you join and for it she paid her life.how the baby felt while not got oxygen because she is little and cant speak properly,if we cant take breath properly then how wee feel.

i hope so because they are some irresponsible worker work in company or hospital and they must have to learn from it because we think its small thing but baby lost life at just age 2 and by other mistake.if punished then all understand otherwise not.

That is really sad and I feel really sorry for her parents. I don't know what it is like in other countries, but if it happened here that nurse would probably get some kind of punishment. If a nurse acts in an irresponsible way she might have to pay a fine, and if she has been extremely irresponsible she might even receive a short prison sentence.

yes you are right she deserved to punish because that thing which she done is took one life of child which is not accepted by say sorry,so i hope shw will jail because if you not give punishment strict till they not understand what they done,here if she man then sure beaten by people because this kind of thing happened before.

That nurse is not a good nurse. When a nurse informed the doctor. It may be that child live.
