Free money is all I can think of going on here. There is a recycle room on all 13 floors here. We go into them and take the bottles and cans we know sell across the street. We are not getting rich or anything . But money is money you know. I wish they would go cash them in now. the shopping card is over full right now..

I do try to return them but it's a lot of hassle and I run out of room to keep them. Then I throw them in the recycle bin. But it's not free money, it's just getting back the money I gave them in the first place.

@sharon6345 Oh, I didn't realize you were picking up the ones others left. Then it is free money. But sticky...

We have a box that we have our crushed cans in in the garage. I have to go check on it, actually, to see if there are any cans that need crushing. ;)

If you did not pay a deposit first, you will receive nothing bringing back the bottles. We have to put them in special containers because the glass is recycled.

They charge a deposit at the cash register for all recycled goods.
