Happy Hanukkah, everyone!

I grew up in an extended family of Christians, Jews and Freethinkers. I don't really celebrate certain Holidays more than others. I just kind of go with the flow. But I did remember at the last minute yesterday that Hanukkah began at sunset (as Jewish Holidays do), so I lit a candle and got contemplative for a little bit before getting back to work. In any case, Happy Hanukkah to all!

@TheHorse I do not really know, because I am Catholic, but my in-laws were Jewish.

Glad you lit a candle! It's not really a major Jewish holiday. But I'm told it became more "salient" because it usually occurs around Christmas.

A (Jewish/Buddhist) hiking buddy of mine have a ritual of going for brisket and latkes in Berkeley after hiking. We may do it this weekend. Shalom!

Happy Hanukkah to you and the Jewish part of your family. I guess my family is full of Christians, Atheists, and Buddhists.
