Welcome to MyLot! I am sure that you CAN do it and that you WILL have fun doing it!
Yes, it's necessary to take the 'boring' stuff on board but NOT because you may or may not be considered 'worthy' by 'certain people' who seem to have taken it upon themselves to 'police' the site! Of course, being new, you won't know anything about that. Never mind! In reality, most are more friendly and welcoming than that and will endeavour to answer whatever questions you have.

I do not police the site, however, I do keep an eye out for people who abuse the guidelines here - That is something I would hope all decent community members would do - and not just the "bad apples" amongst us!
If a post in my opinion is not worthy of my appreciation, then I will not appreciate it! The OP is asking for appreciation - which, I will only give if I like it. Is it compulsory here to like and appreciate every one sentence discussion? Is that my obligation?

@owlwings I think third person can be fun and mysterious. If I always said he or she then it would get boring. Plus one time I did stuck my food in my mouth when I called one member a he and he was actually a she.
