Oh snap! My MyLot bank is frozen! Plus a thought about Sweeba and Bubblews

My blasted bank is frozen here at MyLot. I'm always bummed when that happens, because I can't tell how I'm doing. I think it generally catches up later, but it's still frustrating. Any other frozen banks out there? Mine's been that way for two or three hours. As for Sweeba, I don't think it's run by the Bubblews crew. The hype on the front page looks like a poor copy of Bubblews's early hype: "Sweeba is a NEW EXCITING social movement." And the following, from their "Disclaimer," sounds like a way of saying, if we don't pay you, don't come after us: "We will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under this disclaimer or in connection with our website, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise - including, without limitation, any loss of profit, contracts, business, goodwill, data, income, revenue or anticipated savings." So they've learned from Bubblews's mistakes. But a glaring and uncorrected typo in their TOS suggests an even lower level of professionalism than was found on Bubblews: " You can delete your account within your members area or emailing info@sweeba.com wit (sic) your username and the subject DELETE." Also, most of the posts I saw were pretty ridiculous: pictures of half-naked Asian women with text like "How I look?" and then maybe a comment saying "Look good. Young but well-endowed." (I'm paraphrasing.) Is this Bubbews for adolescents? I think not. I think its run by rank amateurs, not seasoned...um...whatever.

I do not believe that sweeba.com has anything to do with ex Bubb stuff. The registrant is a company based in Scottsdale (AZ) domains by proxy LLC., it seems that no matter who started this site want to stay anonymous.

I don't think so either. I'd want to be anonymous too, given the quality of that site.

@TheHorse You are right, talking of poor quality, this site can win an award. Yesterday also my Bank stayed frozen for a couple of hours.

@LadyDuck Just one of those things, I guess (the occasionally frozen bank). I may visit Sweeba now and then (but I won't sign up) just for amusement. I wonder how long it will last.

I agree with what you have said. I still hope anyone going over there proceeds with caution. Sounds like a sort of low level site. I doubt I would want to be a member.

Yes, low level. Low brow. Probably not a forum for MyLot types, or even Bubblews types. Except for the Asian Hotties.

My bank is frozen too. Hopefully it will catch up soon. As for that other site I'm glad everyone is saving the rest of us time by not having to look at it. Lol.

@LovingMyBabies I wonder if those pictures are from the sender. Or if they're random Asian Teen Models that I don't know about. A surprising mumber of Asian Teen Models posted on Bubblews for awhile.

The frozen bank is probably a site thing. Don't take it personally.

It's not worth looking into. MyLot is abuzz with speculation as to whether the Bubblews team is behind it.

@garymarsh6 I strongly doubt this is the Bubblews crew, though it could be disgruntled ex-Bubblers trying their own hand at the "game."

lol It is a really cheap imitation and I found the English in the term awkward which screams ESL. Not worth thinking about for sure.

I had heard so many rumours that I went to the site to see for myself. The cover page shows no indication whatsoever, so I decided to enrol in order to see further. When I tried creating an account I was told that I already had an account, so that a definite brick wall.

@TheHorse Oh, so you recognise me? It was weird but rather amusing. First they would not let me create an account because I already had one, so it seemed a perfect way to find out who was running the site. I selected "Forgot password" and filled in the section that asked for my email address. The screen informed me that an email had been successfully sent, but none arrived. About one hour later I repeated the process, but still no result.

My earnings yesterday were so low that 'frozen' isn't the correct term. Looks more like another ice age.

My earnings were really low yesterday too. I don't know if the freeze caused it or just low activity. I did notice that the site was pretty quiet.

thanks for the heads up - I shall be avoiding Sweeba with whatever it takes - I think there should be a mandate of who and how these people operate writing sites - surely LAWS should apply???

It seems like mine is frozen every so often too. I figured it takes awhile to update your bank or something? I'm new on here, so I don't know much how this site works yet.

I've been here a couple of months and don't know why that happens now and then. It feels good to gripe a bit, but it generally self-corrects.

Oh my goodness ... this sounds like they have put together another disaster. I'm not sure they have learned anything at all. I'm sure all the former Bubblews members plan to steer clear of their new endeavor!
