Starbucks Mobile Ordering

I have had the Starbucks mobile app for over a year now, and I use it quite frequently to pay for my coffee. Yet, one thing I've never tried with the app is the mobile ordering. Today, as I was sitting in Starbucks enjoying my latte, I started playing around in my app and started looking at the mobile ordering feature. It looks pretty simple and straightforward. I'm thinking about giving it a try the next time I want coffee, so I can skip the often long line at Starbucks.
Have any of you tried the mobile ordering feature from Starbucks? If so, how do you like it?

@moffittjc We don’t have Starbucks here so I’ve never tried anything like that. Though, Dominos has started doing that. You can order your food via an app. I don’t really want to try it. I’m not really the “downloading app” type. Makes me phone look to chaotic otherwise.

Are you serious that you don't have any Starbucks in Perth? Starbucks is everywhere in the world. They probably even have a coffee shop at the South Pole! haha

@moffittjc haha! If there is, I've never seen one. Never heard anyone talking about one being in Perth either.

No I never tried it and the nearest star bucks is over an hour away so not worth the hassle. Hope it works for you the next time your try it

Hmmm, the nearest Starbucks is an hour away? Whatever happened to their goal of worldwide domination by placing a Starbucks at every intersection? Guess they just haven't made it all the way out to you yet! But they're coming!!!
