Nothing On TV / myLot

I find things on tv are getting worse and worse yet, the price keeps going up. It is all repeats and, new stupid shows. I switched down to basic cable and, the only different is the price. It seems with basic cable, they keep cutting more stations out. Pretty soon it might be better to just get a good indoor/outdoor antenna and, get whatever extra off the internet.

we watch netflex and have a roko . no cable , on roku you can get a lot of channels and netflex has some good movies without the commercials depends on what you like to watch. I think cable is to high . rates go up all the time ...repeats and same on stuff your right some is stupid .

A long time ago Bruce Springsteen had a song about cable, where he sang, "57 channels and nothing on." Now it's like 257 channels and nothing on.

I tend to agree with you. I don't know how things are in Canada, but in the States they tend to run nothing but repeats with a few "specials" during December because so many people are tied up with holiday shopping and parties and whatnot. I watch a lot of sports, so I'm not affected by that for the most part.

Cable fee here is pricey. And some channels are not really important. Wish they could juat remove some and lower the charge

That is exactly what I did. Canceled my cable, got a digital antenna for the free channels, and got Netflix for more shows. It works for me.

You do pay more for less these days. I know some have given up on cable and switched to netflix
