Christmas Shopping! / myLot

I'm so excited to say that all my Christmas shopping is finally DONE! Man that was a bit stressful. I hate when I go through stages of worrying about Christmas stuff but now that I have it finished, I can sit back and just wait now. Oh, I still need to wrap I guess! The downside of it all is, I think I'm getting a cold, so I'm dreading having that during Christmas time. Seems everyone gets sick before Christmas. Is your shopping done?!

I haven't been able to do Christmas shopping this year. My husband was out of work for months since he broke his ankle. He has a job again but he wont get paid much before Christmas. Thank God our church is providing Christmas for our children.

We have not done anything yet except do a little cleaning and decorating here and there, oh yes take care of the cold, all the preparations would come to naught if you fall ill when and before the big day arrives.

Maybe I should start? This fall has had so many long, emotional days, I have not been able to motivate myself to even go shopping....the gifts will be sparse.

You wrote this a few days ago so I hope your cold hasn't progressed or is better now. One Christmas I burst both ear-drums on Christmas Eve. That was a bit different!

Yes, I just finished too. I always stress myself out about it as well. I still have to wait for a few gifts to be delivered that I ordered online. It's definitely easier shopping online for most gifts instead of fighting crowds at the stores/malls. What also helped is that I got gift cards/certificates as partial gifts.
