I was thinking of buying something in the little inhouse store so took out my billfold to get out tw o nes. I just had the feeling I should count my money
Okay I have three ones and a ten dollar bill. Uh oh no the ten dollar
bill is missing. I had been saving that to put with some that I have
in my bank to buy my son some Christmas gifts. But evidently some
low life here decided that they needed my ten more than I did.
Damn why does this season bring out the worst in people as well
as the best?.I still do not know how someone got into my handbag
as I keep it on my walker but someone did. ugh tis the season to thieve.

Isn't it possible you spent it already or hid it in a secret compartment? If someone took it why didn't they take the singles also?

no because i was saving that ten to go with some mone y I will draw out of m y bank wednsday so I have been no place to s pend it and m y handbag was alwa ys in m y sigyt onm y walker b ut when I was asleep yesterday orning a housekee ping aide was in our room and made the other bed and i did not hear her at all. It could have been taken then

I hope so too b ut I have looked inall the pl aces one mighyt put a bill and nothing. the only time my handbag is out of sioght is whem Im sleeping Im now wondering if the housekeeping aide took it while i was asleep yesterda y morning i know she cleaned our room while I was asleep I hate to tjhink one of tjose aides is sticky fingered bu t someopne sure is

oh no I searched my handbag in all its nooks and cranies and no ten dollar bill. I too was hoping I might have put it in my locked drawer but no not there. I have a billfold with a number of pockets so I searched them too. This must have happened while I napped yesterd ay morning as the
housekeeping aide was in our room while I was aslee p.

@celticeagle no theynever do anyth8ihg about thefts anyway righyt now Im so upset they to ok my diabetes terst strips and kit awa y so I went to ask why and the y tell me its agaibst the law for me to have lancets in m y room why could theyhave told me first damn? @TheHorse now they really fixed me I have a locked drawer and someone saw I forgot to lock iot they tore off the part that holds the lock and bent it and took m y six d ollars worh of ant histamines.I hope now three bad things have ha ppened it will all be good

This happens all the time in these facilities and the thief often happens when one is asleep. I would recommend not keeping funds on you but if the facility keeps funds for resident's in the office I would keep my money there only taking out what you need when you are going out and upon return placing what wasn't used back in your account.

yes it happed once before and for 22 dollars a number of years back. What i will have to do from now on is put amnu bills of over ones in , my locked drawer in my bedside table. we are f orced to have a lockl and key on one draw to keeop ovedr the counter meds. Im alwa y so caref ul with my money but I forgot the itchy fingers here at holiday time. reporting the loss does not do any good. I think this ha ppen yesterday when IU l aid down for a n pa. I was so und asleeop my nandbag on my walker as usual. I did not check m y m oney thn bu t today darm.

I would complain and file some kind of complaint. They will keep doing it if they know they can get away with it. I know at work the people stealing is ridiculous.

yes I do I have a locked drawer because I keep over the counter meds in it so will keep money in there when Im sleeping.
