Hi friends, I know a part of you post a long discussion and I never give a response on the discussion. I am sorry, I do not like to read a long discussion, because I have no much time to stay here and I do not like read a rambling story. I love read to the point topics. I think simple and short discussion is easier to understand. Sometime, I interest to a discussion because it has an interesting title, but when I know the discussion too long, I close the discussion and cancel to give a response. I am sorry... What about you? Do you do that like me?

Me too. I do not have enough time to read long discussion. Sometime I just read the tittle and the end paragraph, and then give a relate response.

I dont care if the discussion is long or short. If I get an idea about whats going on and if it is tempting then I just respond to them what I feel about it. You dont have to read the whole discussion for this, just read two or three responses from it and you will definitely get an idea about it.

I have the same feeling. Especillay my English is not good enough to handle so long discussions. Because I need to look up the dictionary since there are many new words for me.

I read long discussions if I find the topic interesting. When I see a long discussion I usually have a quick look at the different paragraphs before I decide if I want to read all the details. Some people write long discussions about personal experiences and I often find that interesting.

Yes, how interesting of the topic and how the writer talk a bout determine whether we will give a response or not. But, so far I never read a discussion which contains about 500 words. If I am really want give a response, usually I read the tittle and the last sentence which contain a question for asking our opinion. I think it is the best way for me. Yes, I have much time to read the entire of sentences...

Though the tittle is so interesting, I cancel to give response if I can't catch the main of the idea of the writer easily. I love simple and to the point discussion...

Are you saying that is the post is long (say more than 500 words) you will not respond? Or are you saying that if there are a large number of responses you will not join it? Personally I would not create a long post on MyLot, but I always love to dive into a long discussion.

Yes, You are right. I think, a discussion which contain 500 words is a long discussion. I need pretty much time to read it. Usually, I do not respond it although it has a large number of responses. I think, 50 up to 200 words is an ideal discussion to read and make a response. I also never make a long discussion on mylot, but for another site I write long articles even about 1000 words.
