You would think with all the diploma and certificates and the whole thing, people would get more opportunity for to find a better job. But no they expect you to have experience before you start. When companies, businesses, are greedy it makes the employees poor, and without benefits. The one that I have found since long time is the one that gets the money for the gas. Here where I live, the gas price goes like a yo-yo, one day its $0.98 the other its $0.94, and in the same afternoon it turns out to be $ 0.96. Yesterday it was $ 0.93. Well I hope that it is more stable than that across the country.

I believe that "on the job training" is more important than a diploma from college. Learning a trade gets you a better job than getting a piece of paper that says you've been to college.

Yes! For sure. I do wish that they would come back to that point to take the time to train you when you have the aptitudes. Anybody that can learn quick can do a good job.

@beenice2 I think that's where more concentration needs to be applied. Training young people to do a specific job that will benefit the general economy and will give the young people a job they can be proud to do with a paycheck that supports them comfortably. Some young people go to a four-year college and take classes for college credits that have no benefit whatsoever. Personally, I think these types of classes should be removed from the curriculum and job training for specific careers should be mandatory. I know of some college graduates who are working at fast food restaurants because their diploma is worthless without job skills. It's really sad.

I agree with this. Too many diplomas is not always the best way to get a good job.

Your gas prices are actually more stable than ours. Prices can vary from 91.5 to 102.5 by driving ten kilometres. They can also jump that much in ten minutes.
