Mammoth Cave is the longest cave in the world, I have read. It's about 350 miles long. Do you know of another cave somewhere that is also long? Do you live near any caves? Do you like to go inside caves? We have been inside several caverns. Luray Caverns in Virginia is quite a popular place to visit. We've been there a couple times. Years ago, we also went inside Dinosaur Caverns. I'm trying right now to remember if they were in Arizona or New Mexico. We were traveling across the country in a car and saw the sign and my husband decided we needed a break, so we stopped there and went into the caverns. I'll have to look it up and get back to you. Have you ever been there?

I live not too far from Mammoth Cave. Although it's been years since I've been in the cave itself, I frequently go to the park. There's plenty To do above ground, including a handicapped-accessible nature trail, hiking, and canoeing.

That makes sense that there would be other things to do there. I haven't been there but I recently came across some information about it and thought I would throw it out there to see who might have actually visited it.

We went to Mammoth Cave yeas ago. It's so amazing how big it is. We went on the basic tour that was not too strenuous.

I haven't been there myself, but I'm sure it would be interesting. Maybe some day.
