When this dog barks, everyone listens!

We have several pets, one of which is a very loud dog! When this dog barks, everyone listens. We know she is warning us that someone has dared to enter the area. Or, perhaps a squirrel or family cat has come to the door.
The thing that is especially nice about a loud, barking dog is that feeling of security. Perhaps a false one, because barking dogs don't always follow through.
Do you have a loud, barking dog?

Ally is loud as well and rarely barks without reason. Of course her reasons include the ground squirrel whose moved onto our lot, the rabbit that lives in the empty lot is hopping around in her yard and the neighbor that lives behind us is walking by.

Our little one (not so little really - she is 8 years plus (lol)) will react when she hears the neighbour's dog bark. She is often inside the house and cannot see what goes on outside. That dog is always near their gate which touches the road. The moment she hears that bark she will want us to open the door for her and she runs to our gate and joins in the singing (lol)

Sometimes it would be nice if they would remain calm, but this dog is a barker.

We can get the dog to stop barking easily, but just let it go-just in case.
