Would you get the item worth less points or one you would like?

I collect Stouffers Rewards, basically certainly tv dinners have a code on it, then you collect points for rewards. They have everything from cooking utensils, ipads, gift cards, and free products. Well I just grabbed a few products for 4 tv dinners. I really want to Walmart gift card but the points are more than others. For example a tv dinner is 1,000 points (they run for $2.97 usually but can go on sale for $1.97). Whereas a $10 Walmart gift card is $9.497 points.

@ricki_911 I can understand that I probably would too if I didn't have anyone to cook for but myself.

I have been debating considering I wouldn't mind the gift card, but then I would use the free product coupon as well.

Do you also use the saving catcher on Walmart? I love it. Bought Christmas presents with them for my grandson this year.

I don't eat Stouffers, but when I do similar rewards or redeeming ~ I try to reach my goal but then I sometimes think what if the program ends? So I usually end up redeeming whatever I can, just encase. Or, if I know I can reach the goal I really want - I'd wait. It depends.

I can understand that as well. I usually get a few a month so I tend to add up quickly.

I miss Stouffers Rewards. They discontinued the program here, which is too bad... my aunt was saving all of her points for me, so I always had a ton of them to redeem. On the sites where I earn points for rewards, I always try to pick the reward that's the best value. The only real requirement I have beyond that is that it has to at least be something I'll use. With the rewards programs like that, though, I figure they're completely extra. I don't buy products just to get the points, so I don't feel bad getting something I really want from the catalog.

That;s too bad they discontinued it there. I wonder if they will do that here eventually. Sometimes I will get these ones instead of a different kind of tv dinner. I keep getting the free dinners as I know I will use it.
